CFAA Production Assistant (PA) Course : 
​featuring Kincade Production’s online class,
"How To Be A Successful Production Assistant". 
​Supported by a grant from the California Arts Council (CAC)

 40 Students of all ages participated in 3-phases of Production Assistant Training, as shown below, with an online certification course that was required to graduate. The list of PA's:

This all-inclusive $545.00 training course is being offered FREE of charge to the first 40 qualified attendees - thanks to a grant from the California Arts Council (CAC). Space is limited. (Cost for attendees who enroll after 20 will pay $300.)

Attendees who successfully complete this course will be vetted as qualified to work professionally as a PA in film & digital arts. Their contact info will be provided to film commissioners & offices and will stand out as graduates of this program who are eligible to be referred for hire. Attendees also receive a free one-year membership with the CFAA.

PA Training, Testing & Certification:
●  Learn the knowledge & skills to work on set as a qualified Production Assistant. 
●  Two days of in-person training. Speakers Series & Hands-On.
●  Intensive online digital training course. 
●  Classwork & testing for certification with local film offices. 

Stage 1: Sat., Dec 2nd, 2023 - PA Speakers:  Seasoned film professionals share their experiences coming up in the industry from PA work. Learn directly from the pros on how to create a successful career in the film industry starting as a PA. Including: Jeremiah Kelleher, Matthew Sangria, Hugo Martinez and Mark Herzig.
In-person at the Camera Kitchen, 125 R St. Sacramento CA 95811. (1pm-3pm)

Stage 2: Sun., Dec. 3rd, 2023 - Kincade Production’s online course, How To Be A Successful Production Assistant. 
To be taken from Sun., Dec. 3rd thru Sat. Dec. 16th - this course in industry standards includes final testing and certification. Approximate completion time is  6 hours. (This can be broken down as needed, if completed by the deadline provided.) 

Stage 3: Sat., Dec 16th, 2023 - Hands-On & Expectations 
​Industry leaders will speak on what will be asked of you on set and what type work you might be asked to do. Commonly used equipment & stands will be available for hands-on training, etiquette and use.
